Racing Incident Report
SUPERNINSKY began very awkwardly and lost ground at the start.
As the start was effected, NOBLE DE BEST put its head down and consequently began awkwardly.
Shortly after the start, ADMIRAL LORD and NOBLE DE BEST were taken across behind runners.
Also shortly after the start, XILAI XIANZI was steadied away from the heels of HORSE APLENTY which shifted in.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, GREAT STORIES was steadied when crowded for room between INVICTUS and HELENE FUN STAR which was initially taken in by HORSE APLENTY (T Angland). A short distance later, HORSE APLENTY was taken in by DOUBLE GLORY (D Whyte), resulting in HELENE FUN STAR being taken across the running of GREAT STORIES which had to be steadied away from the heels of HELENE FUN STAR in consequence. Both T Angland and D Whyte were reprimanded and advised to ensure they leave comfortable racing room for runners to their inside in future. In this incident, HELENE FUN STAR and HORSE APLENTY made contact on a number of occasions.
Approaching and passing the 1200 Metres, SUPERNINSKY was checked away from the heels of CALIFORNIA DUDE when proving very difficult to settle.
Also passing the 1200 Metres, NOBLE DE BEST proved difficult to settle and was checked away from the heels of XILAI XIANZI.
WINNING APEX was left racing wide and without cover until near the 1100 Metres.
Passing the 1100 Metres, HORSE APLENTY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of HELENE FUN STAR (M Chadwick) which shifted in to obtain cover behind INVICTUS. M Chadwick was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear of other runners when shifting ground in future. In this incident, GREAT STORIES became unbalanced when momentarily crowded for room inside HORSE APLENTY.
HORSE APLENTY was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight.
INVICTUS, WINNING APEX and DOUBLE GLORY were sent for sampling.
