Racing Incident Report

SMART MAN and PROLIFIC CHAMPION bumped at the start, resulting in PROLIFIC CHAMPION being taken out onto ENSEMBLE which became unbalanced.
From a wide barrier, KIDS AND WIN was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Making the turn near the 1000 Metres, SMART MAN became awkward after shifting out towards the heels of PROLIFIC CHAMPION.
After the 900 Metres, SMART MAN had to be ridden along to maintain its position.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, PROLIFIC CHAMPION was hampered when awkwardly placed outside the heels of SMART MAN which got its head on the side and shifted out. After this, SMART MAN continued to lay out.
Approaching the 300 Metres, KIDS AND WIN was shifted in away from the heels of MR GOURMET.
After the 200 Metres, ENSEMBLE was shifted to the inside of HAPPY YEAH YEAH to obtain clear running.
Throughout the race, DREAM BUILDER and HAPPY CHAMPION travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that HAPPY YEAH YEAH had lost its right front plate and that DREAM BUILDER had lost its left front plate.
A veterinary inspection of NEW GLORY, PROLIFIC CHAMPION and MR GOURMET immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BOBO DRAGON and GENUINE LEADER were sent for sampling.
<11/7/2013 Additional Veterinary Report>NEW GLORY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said at that time there were no significant findings. NEW GLORY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, NEW GLORY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
