Racing Incident Report

SEASONS STAR was slow to begin.
SUPER FRESH was slow to begin and shortly after the start was checked away from the heels of ORIENTAL PROSPER which shifted in.
Approaching the 200 Metres, ORIENTAL PROSPER, which was held up for clear running, improved into a tight run outside EMPEROR BLITZ and in doing so bumped GLORY HORSIE. PERFECT MOMENT, which was following, was shifted away from the heels of GLORY HORSIE in consequence.
Y T Cheng (GOLD RACER) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that after the 200 Metres he permitted his mount to shift out when not clear of SUPER FRESH, causing that horse to be checked and lose the running to which it was rightfully entitled. Y T Cheng was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Monday, 10 December 2012 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Sha Tin racemeeting on Sunday, 2 December 2012.
Over the concluding stages, GLORY HORSIE was awkwardly placed outside the heels of EMPEROR BLITZ.
Close to the finishing line, SEASONS STAR (D Whyte) got its head on the side and shifted out abruptly, resulting in RIDE ON THE FIRE being hampered. In this incident, D Whyte was obliged to stop riding and straighten his mount. As a result of this incident, SEASONS STAR was not able to be properly tested.
Throughout the race, EMPEROR BLITZ travelled wide and without cover.
SEASONS STAR, GOLD RACER and ROMANTIC CITY were sent for sampling.
