Racing Incident Report

Passing the winning post on the first occasion, LUCKY WARRIOR commenced to race keenly and shifted out when being steadied away from the heels of PERFECT GEAR which itself was steadied away from the heels of DR WIN which shifted in when barely clear. When LUCKY WARRIOR shifted out away from the heels of PERFECT GEAR, FLUKE, which was travelling behind that horse, improved its position to be racing inside the heels of LUCKY WARRIOR which resulted in LUCKY WARRIOR travelling three wide and without cover for the remainder of the race. When LUCKY WARRIOR shifted out, JIMSON THE BEST was taken wider. Passing the 1200 Metres, STAR OF FAME was steadied away from the heels of REGENCY WINNER which shifted in when travelling close to the heels of FLUKE. Near the 1100 Metres, DR WIN got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of WIN A DOZEN which shifted out slightly. Rounding the Home Turn, both REGENCY WINNER and JIMSON THE BEST were steadied away from the heels of FLUKE which shifted out to obtain clear running. Passing the 100 Metres, FLUKE momentarily raced in restricted room between PERFECT GEAR and NORDIC STAR. A veterinary inspection of JIMSON THE BEST and LUCKY WARRIOR after the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY WARRIOR, REGENCY WINNER and NORDIC STAR were sent for sampling.
