Racing Incident Report

As the start was effected, ZEZAO reared and as a result lost a considerable amount of ground. Before being allowed to race again, ZEZAO will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. JUST GOOD and EASY GOLD made heavy contact at the start. Near the 1400 Metres, EASY GOLD was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GRAND GENERAL. At the 400 Metres, CLASSA was checked when crowded for room inside WINNING STRATEGY which, after initially being taken in by HUMONGUS, was shifted ground when held up behind GRAND GENERAL, then got its head on the side and shifted in away from that horse. In the circumstances, the Stewards believed there was no rider error associated with this incident and therefore no further action was taken. After this, HUMONGUS was not able to obtain clear running until near the 300 Metres. Approaching the 200 Metres, DIVINE KID got its head on the side and shifted in. Passing the 50 Metres, HUMONGUS shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of EASY GOLD. Close to the finishing line, DIVINE KID shifted out and brushed ABLE DRAGON. Throughout the race, GRAND GENERAL travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of CLASSA after the race did not show any significant findings. EASY GOLD and HUMONGUS were sent for sampling.
