Racing Incident Report

CHANTILLY was withdrawn on 4.10.11 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (blood abnormality) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter SUPREME TYCOON. Before being allowed to race again, CHANTILLY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. As the start was effected, EASY JOB got its head up, lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently was slow to begin. After this, EASY JOB was ridden along to obtain a more forward position, however, failed to muster speed and then near the 1500 Metres was momentarily steadied when crowded for room between DAILY DOUBLE and HEALTHY CONTENDER. For some distance after the 1300 Metres, FOREST FOUNTAIN got its head on the side and hung out towards the heels of EASY JOB. Near the 250 Metres, CHAMPION STAR, which was giving ground, was steadied away from the heels of DAILY DOUBLE which got its head on the side and shifted out and away from HEALTHY CONTENDER. EASY JOB, which was following, was steadied in consequence. Passing the 100 Metres, SUNNY SKY was steadied and shifted in away from the heels of KUNG HEI FAT CHOI which, after initially being taken out by SUPREME TYCOON, then shifted out of its own accord. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SUPREME TYCOON had lost its left front plate and that SUNNY SKY had lost its right front plate. SUPREME TYCOON and HEALTHY CONTENDER were sent for sampling.
