| 7 | 12 | DIAMOND SOARS (G201) | Jumped only fairly and for some distance shortly after the start raced tight between DAY DAY VICTORY and HAPPY TANGO which shifted out slightly. After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that the instructions were to lead but after being crowded at the start DIAMOND SOARS settled further back than what had been intended. Sent for sampling post-race. |
| 8 | 2 | SPICY SO SMART (G203) | L Ferraris (ACE TALENT) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 100 Metres he permitted his mount to shift out when not clear of SPICY SO SMART, resulting in SPICY SO SMART losing its rightful running and having to be steadied to avoid ACE TALENT. L Ferraris was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 30 April 2025 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his very good race riding record. |
| 9 | 1 | NOTTHESILLYONE (J383) | On jumping was crowded between SOLAR UP and URBAN TRIUMPH which shifted out. After the event, L Hewitson stated that despite being crowded at the start the instructions were to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages from a wide barrier. |

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, URBAN TRIUMPH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. |
