Racing Incident Report

OUT FOR GOLD began awkwardly and lost ground. OUT FOR GOLD was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of OUT FOR GOLD after the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of OUT FOR GOLD, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, OUT FOR GOLD will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. At the 350 Metres, M W Leung (PEARL HALO) dropped his left rein. Near the 300 Metres, PRECISION MAGIC was steadied when having difficulty obtaining clear running between BLESS US ALL and ALMIGHTY. After the 200 Metres, PRECISION MAGIC was shifted to the outside of PEARL HALO to continue going forward. DON RICARDO and LUCKY DRAGON were sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, DON RICARDO was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse had bled from both nostrils. Also after the race, LUCKY DRAGON was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse was lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY DRAGON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. APPRECIATION and ALL TIME HIGH were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that BLINK AGAIN was making an abnormal breathing noise.
