Racing Incident Report
GALAXY DANCER proved difficult to load. Before being allowed to race again, GALAXY DANCER will have to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. PURE ALPHA was slow to begin and lost a considerable amount of ground. GALAXY DANCER began awkwardly, from the outside barrier was allowed to drift back, then for the major part of the race travelled wide and without cover. NICKU NICKU and RED WINE HONEY were slow to begin. Passing the 1200 Metes, EVER KING was steadied away from the heels of RED WINE HONEY. Near the 1100 Metres, EVER KING got its head up when again being steadied away from the heels of RED WINE HONEY. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, ALICE TOO was carried wider by REAL SPECIAL which at this time shifted out. After the 400 Metres, NICKU NICKU was steadied away from the heels of HARRY HARRY. Near the 300 Metres, NICKU NICKU, which was having difficulty obtaining clear running, was steadied and shifted to the outside of ALICE TOO which was giving ground. Then over the final 100 Metres, NICKU NICKU was unable to obtain clear running and because of this was not properly tested. After the 200 Metres, EVER KING, which had for some distance been experiencing difficulty obtaining clear running, was steadied and shifted to the outside of NIGHT HUNTER III. For the major part of the race, CHINA SPORTFIELD travelled wide and without cover. SUPER IDEAL and GALAXY DANCER were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SUPER IDEAL and GALAXY DANCER after the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY MONEY STAR, REAL SPECIAL and DECENT FELLOW were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported NICKU NICKU was lame in the left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, NICKU NICKU will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
