Racing Incident Report
The explanation of M Nunes (KING HESPERUS) for initially entering the incorrect barrier was accepted. On jumping, ROYAL FALCON blundered. THE GOODIES and FLORAL NIRVANA were slow to begin. After entering the Back Straight, MAGIC TEMPLE travelled keenly. Shortly after straightening, CELEBRATION was hampered and carried wider by ROCKET WIN which at this time shifted to the outside of COURAGEOUSHEART into clear running. Near the 200 Metres, TOP HONOR was shifted to the inside of COURAGEOUSHEART to continue going forward. The performance of CHIMERA was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, CHIMERA will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. KING HESPERUS was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of KING HESPERUS after the race did not show any significant findings. COURAGEOUSHEART, ROCKET WIN and TOP HONOR were sent for sampling.
