Racing Incident Report
KEEN TAKER began awkwardly. Shortly after the start, HAPPY KID blundered and after this lost further ground when steadying away from the heels of BODACIOUS. As a consequence, HAPPY KID travelled further back than is usual. Approaching the turn at the 1000 Metres, BRAVE KNIGHT became unbalanced when awkwardly placed inside FLYING KENNY which was racing tight inside BODACIOUS. Making the turn at the 1000 Metres, FLYING KENNY got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of BODACIOUS. After the 800 Metres, KINGSTON WINNER was checked when crowded for room between FAST TRACK which shifted out slightly and GENERAL DANSKE (D Nikolic) which shifted in. In the circumstances, D Nikolic was severely reprimanded and told to exercise greater care. At the 600 Metres, FAST TRACK was momentarily steadied away from the heels of GENERAL DANSKE which shifted in when barely clear. For a considerable distance approaching and passing the 200 Metres, FAST TRACK was not able to obtain clear running between VICTORY WARRIOR and GENERAL DANSKE which at this time got its head on the side and shifted in away from BODACIOUS which was also shifting in. WAFER KING was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of WAFER KING after the race did not show any significant findings. BRAVE KNIGHT and BODACIOUS were sent for sampling.
