Racing Incident Report

On jumping, MAGIC TEMPLE was crowded for room between RAIN IN SPRING and TATTENHALL DELIGHT, both of which shifted ground. After passing the winning post on the first occasion, RAIN IN SPRING was steadied when momentarily crowded for room inside MAGIC TEMPLE which was carried in by TATTENHALL DELIGHT. No action was taken. From a wide barrier, despite being ridden along in the early stages, HAPPY ALL AROUND failed to muster speed and then travelled wide and without cover. After the 1300 Metres, TATTENHALL DELIGHT, which was proving difficult to settle, clipped the heels of REWARDING STAR and blundered. For some distance after this, TATTENHALL DELIGHT continued to prove difficult to settle when close to the heels of REWARDING STAR, near the 1200 Metres shifted out and bumped MAGIC TEMPLE which at the same time was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MASTER ABLE which in turn got its head up and was steadied away from the heels of BRAVE COMMANDER when proving difficult to settle. As a result, MAGIC TEMPLE shifted out and bumped OPERA MAGIC which became badly unbalanced and blundered. Inconvenience was also caused to NAMJONG SMILE and HAPPY ALL AROUND which were checked in consequence. In the circumstances, no action was taken. After this incident, OPERA MAGIC travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. Shortly after entering the Back Straight, TATTENHALL DELIGHT was checked to avoid the heels of MASTER ABLE which when continuing to prove difficult to settle got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of BRAVE COMMANDER. In the early part of the Straight, ONLY YOU and TATTENHALL DELIGHT had difficulty obtaining clear running. Approaching the 200 Metres, BRAVE COMMANDER was reluctant to shift to the outside of KAISER'S PRIZE into clear running. OPERA MAGIC and RAIN IN SPRING were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of OPERA MAGIC and RAIN IN SPRING after the race did not show any significant findings. MASTER ABLE and BRAVE COMMANDER were sent for sampling.
