Racing Incident Report

After being boxed, KEY WINNER became very fractious. KEY WINNER was removed from the stall and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. KEY WINNER was slow to begin and then finished tailed out. The performance of KEY WINNER was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, KEY WINNER will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. CHOICE AND CHANCE and KINGIFLY were slow to begin. FORTE began awkwardly, bumped the inside gate of its stall and for the major part of the race hung in. For a considerable distance after the 600 Metres, KINGIFLY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of LUCKY FRUIT. LUCKY BABY and KINGIFLY were sent for sampling.
