Racing Incident Report
CENTURY SUPER STAR was withdrawn on 14.10.06 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (left fore tendon injury) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter LEADER. Before being allowed to race again, CENTURY SUPER STAR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. INSIDER bounded in the air at the start and lost ground. CHARMING SPEEDY began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped DEMINER. FLORAL FOKANZA stumbled on jumping. E Saint-Martin (INSIDER) was unable to offer any explanation for the poor performance of the horse. He said after INSIDER did not begin well, the horse at no stage travelled well and after the 500 Metres failed to respond to his riding. KING ACRYLIC and INSIDER were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of KING ACRYLIC and INSIDER after the race did not show any significant findings. GALBRAITH and LOLLIPOP were sent for sampling.
