Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, LUCKY MONEY lifted its front feet off the ground, got its head up and as a consequence was slow to begin. After the 1400 Metres, VICTORY CODE was crowded for room inside VITALITY CHAMP which was being steadied away from the heels of FLYING BISHOP (M Nunes) which when crossing to race outside the leader was being restrained and shifted ground when barely clear. M Nunes was told in similar circumstances he would be expected to show greater consideration for his fellow riders. Throughout the race, SING FAY FAY travelled wide and without cover and making the Home Turn was carried wider after being bumped by VITALITY CHAMP which shifted to the outside of FLYING BISHOP into clear running. When under pressure over the final 250 Metres, SECRET OF KINGS on two occasions shifted out, obliging A Delpech, its rider, to stop riding and straighten his mount. At the 100 Metres, HAPPY KID, which was giving ground, was steadied away from the heels of FLYING BISHOP which momentarily shifted in. No action was taken. FLYING BISHOP and SECRET OF KINGS were sent for sampling.
