Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, CLASSIC HORSE stood flat-footed and lost a considerable amount of ground. Before being allowed to race again, CLASSIC HORSE will have to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. FEBURO bounded in the air at the start. SPLENDID SAILS was slow to begin. On jumping, LIBERAL'S RIDE and SUNRISE LINING were crowded for room inside CHERISHED which got its head on the side and shifted ground. Despite being ridden along in the early stages, A PLUS FIT failed to muster speed and got well back. At the 1100 Metres, BRAVE KNIGHT was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of SPLENDID SAILS. At the 900 Metres, CLASSIC HORSE was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of CHERISHED which shifted in and outside FEBURO which at this time was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of A PLUS FIT. In this incident, FEBURO also lost ground. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, FEBURO hung out, causing CLASSIC HORSE to be carried out and steadied away from the heels of CHERISHED. At the 700 Metres, CLASSIC HORSE became unbalanced when bumped by FEBURO which continued to hang out. For some distance after the 400 Metres, HANDBAG PREMIER had difficulty obtaining clear running between GOLCONDA and FLASH HARRY. SUNRISE LINING, which was following HANDBAG PREMIER, was shifted to the inside of that horse in an attempt to find clear running. Near the 200 Metres, SUNRISE LINING, which was continuing to have difficulty obtaining clear running, was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of LIBERAL'S RIDE. Then over the concluding stages, SUNRISE LINING raced in restricted room between GOLCONDA and HANDBAG PREMIER. Because of this, SUNRISE LINING was not properly tested. In the Straight, CLASSIC HORSE hung in. Throughout the race, GOLCONDA travelled wide and without cover. CLASSIC HORSE was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. SPLENDID SAILS was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of CLASSIC HORSE and SPLENDID SAILS after the race did not show any significant findings. BUDDIES POWER and SUPER FANTASY were sent for sampling.
