Racing Incident Report
KINDACROSS began awkwardly and lost ground. ROYAL DELIGHT began awkwardly and was then bumped by HELENE ELEGANCE. LIBERAL'S KNIGHT began awkwardly, shifted in and was steadied away from the heels of FLYING SPRINTER. GOLDEN CARE was slow to begin. In the early stages when travelling wide and without cover in a forward position, GLOBAL WIN proved difficult to settle. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, CLASSA FOR EVER was awkwardly placed inside the heels of GLOBAL WIN. Also in the early stages, HELENE ELEGANCE travelled wide and without cover. Near the 600 Metres, SOLAR and CHATEAU KING PRAWN bumped. At the 600 Metres, LIBERAL'S KNIGHT was steadied when awkwardly placed inside FLYING SPRINTER. For the major part of the race, INDUSTRIAL GLORY hung out. When questioned, E Saint-Martin (CHATEAU KING PRAWN) said he was instructed to have the horse relaxed if possible in a position with cover. He said CHATEAU KING PRAWN began only fairly and received some crowding. He said after this the horse pulled its way forward to a position inside the heels of ROYAL DELIGHT. He said after the 1000 Metres he shifted to a position behind CLASSA FOR EVER and at this stage CHATEAU KING PRAWN commenced to relax, he therefore allowed the horse to lose a little further ground to ensure it did not become keen. He said when this occurred ROYAL DELIGHT shifted from his outside to a position behind CLASSA FOR EVER. E Saint-Martin was told his explanation would be reported. ROYAL DELIGHT and KINDACROSS were sent for sampling.
