Racing Incident Report
C Brown (THE ELEGANT GREY) was fined $2,000 for presenting himself at scale 2 lbs over the horse's handicap weight. On jumping, VITAL PATROL stumbled and dislodged M W Leung, its rider. Also on jumping, OKEYDOKEY was bumped by HAPPY MASTER which shifted in. SPACE SHUTTLE was slow to begin. THE ELEGANT GREY began awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. After the 400 Metres, LUCKY STRAVINSKY got its head on the side and was inclined to hang out. ELEGANT JEWELLERY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, ELEGANT JEWELLERY was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse was lame in the left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, ELEGANT JEWELLERY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DREAM HORSE and LUCKY STRAVINSKY were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported VITAL PATROL had lost its right front plate.
