Racing Incident Report

NOBLE SILENCE was slow to begin. FAMOUS DANCER began awkwardly and bumped the inside gate of its stall. NILOMETER lifted its front feet off the ground when the gates opened and lost ground. PILLOW KING was a little slow to begin. For some distance after the 800 Metres, PILLOW KING was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of COME SEE YOU and NILOMETER. Near the 700 Metres, PILLOW KING shifted out to race directly behind NILOMETER and as a result carried MIGHTY HUGO wider, causing that horse to then race without cover. On straightening, FAMOUS DANCER was bumped by GREAT ACHIEVEMENT which shifted to the outside of MONEY STRONG. For a considerable distance after straightening, AMBITIOUS TYCOON was held up and unable to improve when racing behind GREAT ACHIEVEMENT and inside FAMOUS DANCER. At the 200 Metres, COME SEE YOU was shifted to the inside of AMBITIOUS TYCOON to obtain clear running. After the 200 Metres, FAMOUS DANCER, which was giving ground, was steadied to avoid the heels of AMBITIOUS TYCOON which shifted out. Near the 100 Metres, AMBITIOUS TYCOON was shifted to the inside of GREAT ACHIEVEMENT to obtain clear running. MONEY STRONG and FAMOUS DANCER were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of MONEY STRONG and FAMOUS DANCER after the race did not show any significant findings. GREAT ACHIEVEMENT and COSMO SUCCESS were sent for sampling.
