Racing Incident Report
ACME OF SURPRISE began awkwardly and bumped the outside gate of its stall. WIN FOR ABALONE and KING OF TURBOT began awkwardly. Shortly after the start, OH GREAT was checked and TELECOM CAESAR crowded for room between CAPABEL and FIRST KNIGHT which on jumping shifted out abruptly. In this incident, CAPABEL became unbalanced behind after being bumped by OH GREAT. In the early stages, MONEY EXPRESS proved difficult to settle. Near the 400 Metres, KING OF TURBOT got its head on the side, shifted in and made contact with ACME OF SURPRISE. Making the Home Turn, LONGMARK hung out, then in the Straight shifted out and near the 200 Metres made contact with RIGHT DECISION. On straightening, FIRST KNIGHT was steadied away from the heels of A BETTER DRAGON (R Fradd) which shifted out when not properly clear. R Fradd was told to exercise more care. About the 50 Metres, WIN FOR ABALONE was bumped by OH GREAT which shifted in. For the major part of the race, KING OF TURBOT raced wide and without cover. FIRST KNIGHT was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of FIRST KNIGHT after the race did not show any significant findings. CAPABEL, A BETTER DRAGON and MONEY EXPRESS were sent for sampling.
