Racing Incident Report

FLYING PROFILE began awkwardly and lost ground at the start. PIONERO began awkwardly, shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of PORTER RICKS. On jumping, WYNDHAM PROFIT shifted out and bumped SILVERBIRD which began awkwardly. CHOICE AND CHANCE began awkwardly, bumped the inside gate of its stall and lost ground. ZHI YOU SPIRIT began awkwardly and stumbled. In the early stages, WYNDHAM PROFIT got its head up when proving difficult to settle. Near the 1000 Metres, MIRACLE DRAGON became unbalanced after being bumped by JOYFUL WORLD which when proving difficult to settle shifted in. Making the turn after the 800 Metres, PORTER RICKS was inclined to lay out. At the 700 Metres, WYNDHAM PROFIT got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of PORTER RICKS. At the 300 Metres, PORTER RICKS was steadied when awkwardly placed between WAFER KING and CHOICE AND CHANCE. After the 100 Metres, JOYFUL WORLD and PIONERO bumped primarily because of PIONERO shifting in. In the Straight, FRIENDS FOREVER got its head on the side and raced ungenerously. Throughout the race, WAFER KING raced wide and without cover. MIRACLE DRAGON and ZHI YOU SPIRIT were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of MIRACLE DRAGON and ZHI YOU SPIRIT after the race did not show any significant findings. PIONERO and CHECK MATE were sent for sampling.

PORTER RICKS was examined by the Senior Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Hall yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in both front legs. Before being allowed to race again, PORTER RICKS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
