Racing Incident Report
In the early stages, ETERNAL FUN and MULTI RANSOM raced tight and bumped on several occasions when between SAVINGS ACCOUNT and NEW CENTURY. Near the 1300 Metres, RENA'S WUNDERBAR was checked when crowded for room between MAESTRO and SAVINGS ACCOUNT which momentarily shifted in when racing tight inside ETERNAL FUN. Near the 900 Metres, MULTI RANSOM became unbalanced when close to the heels of MAESTRO. At the 500 Metres, MULTI RANSOM, which at this time was unable to improve, became unbalanced when close to the heels of SUPER DANA. Shortly after straightening, MULTI RANSOM was checked when disappointed for running inside SUPER DANA which itself improved into running on the inside of ABLE MARS which at this time got its head on the side, hung in and was checked away from the heels of GREAT KID. In the opinion of the Stewards, whilst the incident was one of some significance, blame could not be attributed to any rider. For a considerable distance after this, ABLE MARS was held up and unable to improve between SUPER DANA and GREAT KID which at this time was giving ground. Also after the initial incident, MULTI RANSOM was further steadied and shifted out to obtain clear running. For a considerable distance approaching and passing the 250 Metres, MAESTRO was held up and unable to improve between LAZY BUDDIES and UNIVERSAL GLORY. At the 250 Metres, TORI TOP was bumped by ETERNAL FUN which got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly. After the 200 Metres, LAZY BUDDIES, which was giving ground, was inconvenienced by GREAT KID which shifted out momentarily. The performance of SAVINGS ACCOUNT, which tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being permitted to race again, SAVINGS ACCOUNT will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. ABLE MARS was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of ABLE MARS after the race did not show any significant findings. NEW CENTURY and MULTI RANSOM were sent for sampling.
