Racing Incident Report

WINNING KEVIN was slow to begin. FLORAL DYNAMITE began awkwardly and got its head up. JOYFUL SPIRIT was a little slow to begin. Shortly after the start, SPARKLING STAR shifted in and bumped KINGSTON WINNER. SPARKLING STAR then shifted out and bumped DASHING THUNDER. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, BYRON was steadied away from the heels of DASHING THUNDER. Making the turn after the 800 Metres, KAISER'S PRIZE hung out. This caused some inconvenience to DASHING THUNDER which was carried wider. Just prior to straightening, KINGSTON WINNER was steadied away from the heels of MONARDS after being carried out slightly by BYRON which at this time was shifting out. After the 400 Metres, FLORAL DYNAMITE, which was beginning to close the race off, was checked when disappointed for running between MOVE IT which when improving towards the outside of GALLANT KNIGHT was carried out slightly by that horse and KAISER'S PRIZE which when giving ground was carried in by DASHING THUNDER which shifted in when giving ground. Shortly after this, KAISER'S PRIZE was checked when crowded for room between MOVE IT which continued to be carried out slightly by GALLANT KNIGHT and DASHING THUNDER which shifted in when continuing to give ground. No action was taken. From shortly after the 400 Metres until after the 300 Metres, GIANFANTI was held up and unable to obtain clear running between DASHING THUNDER and BYRON, both of which were giving ground. To obtain clear running, GIANFANTI was steadied near the 200 Metres and shifted to the outside of BYRON. BUMPER BUMPER, JOYFUL SPIRIT and SPARKLING STAR were sent for sampling.
