Racing Incident Report

TELECOM CAESAR and DANDY BUNNY were slow to begin. On jumping, TREASURE FIELD knuckled. JUSTINIAN began awkwardly and bumped the inside gate of its stall. BALL OF FIRE began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of JUSTINIAN. In the early stages, HK ISLAND VICTORY proved difficult to settle. Near the 800 Metres, JUSTINIAN shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of TABBRIS. This caused some inconvenience to AUSPICIOUS ODYSSEY and TOUCH OF CLASS, both of which were carried wider. In the early part of the Straight, GREEN VACATION was held up and unable to obtain clear running behind JUSTINIAN. After the 400 Metres, JUSTINIAN was steadied and shifted in to avoid the heels of TABBRIS which was carried out by ACE OF PACE which in the Straight hung out. Near the 300 Metes, TREASURE FIELD was steadied when disappointed for running between THE ONLY ONE and FORTUNE BUILDER. At the 200 Metres, FORTUNE BUILDER, which was racing tight inside DANDY BUNNY, shifted in and was checked to avoid the heels of THE ONLY ONE which shifted out. TREASURE FIELD, which was following, was inconvenienced in consequence. No action was taken. After the 200 Metres, HK ISLAND VICTORY was steadied away from the heels of AUSPICIOUS ODYSSEY which was giving ground. Near the 100 Metres, ACE OF PACE, which was continuing to hang and was giving ground, shifted out. As a result, TABBRIS, which was also giving ground, was checked to avoid its heels. Throughout the race, TOUCH OF CLASS raced wide and without cover. FRUITY FRUITY and BALL OF FIRE were sent for sampling.
