Racing Incident Report
After being boxed, PRIME WITNESS became fractious and broke through the front of its starting gates. The horse was quickly pulled up, returned to the Start, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and after the necessary consultations was passed suitable to race. When PRIME WITNESS broke through, it damaged the starting gates and to avoid an unreasonable delay, PRIME WITNESS was shifted from stall 8 to 9 and those drawn outside PRIME WITNESS were accordingly shifted one stall further out. Before PRIME WITNESS can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. GOLCONDA, which had drawn an awkward gate, raced wide throughout, without any cover and also hung in. KENWOOD MELODY was slowly away. About the 200 Metres, OUR CLASS was steadied and shifted in when disappointed for running between VICTORY MARBLE and PRIME WITNESS. GOLCONDA was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. TRIPLE EXPRESSO was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. The post race clinical examinations of GOLCONDA and TRIPLE EXPRESSO revealed no abnormalities. BULL'S EYE and MY HONOUR were sent for sampling.
