Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, GREELEY JUNIOR bounded in the air and for the first few strides was unbalanced, then near the 200 Metres was disappointed for running inside ENLIGHTENMENT, after this was held up in the run to the winning post and was not ridden out in the normal fashion. KEEN FLYER left the gates very awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of ETERNAL START. About the 900 Metres, GREEN FINDER was steadied when momentarily awkward between ETERNAL START and WONDERFUL WIN which briefly shifted in. Approaching the 600 Metres, GREEN FINDER and WONDERFUL WIN came together. Just after this, GREEN FINDER shifted in away from WONDERFUL WIN and bumped ENLIGHTENMENT which itself became unbalanced. GREEN FINDER then shifted out and again made contact with WONDERFUL WIN which shifted out abruptly across the heels of ST VIVANT and was checked. HONOURABLE was rather severely checked to avoid the hindquarters of WONDERFUL WIN, shifted out and made that turn very wide. When WONDERFUL WIN shifted ground, some inconvenience was caused to AMAZING which was following. However, after this, AMAZING was able to improve inside WONDERFUL WIN. Near the 400 Metres, ETERNAL START was steadied when momentarily awkward between the hindquarters of KEEN FLYER and VILLAGER which shifted in slightly. About right on the winning post, ENLIGHTENMENT and GREEN FINDER bumped. KEEN FLYER, AMAZING and TAR 'N' FEATHER were sent for sampling.
