Racing Incident Report
E Legrix was fined $2,000 for accepting the rides on both CLEAR MASTER and UNIVERSAL GLORY. It was established E Legrix had a firm commitment for UNIVERSAL GLORY. Permission was granted for G Mossé to be declared as the rider of CLEAR MASTER. CALVADOS left the gates very awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of WINNING DELIGHTS. When the gates opened, UNIVERSAL GLORY bounded in the air. Just after the winning post the first time, UNIVERSAL GLORY became unbalanced when close to the heels of UNITY and shifted out. After this, UNIVERSAL GLORY was obliged to race wide and without cover. After the 200 Metres, CALVADOS was shifted out to find running. W C Marwing (WINNING DELIGHTS) stated at no stage of the race did the horse travel as he thought it would. He pulled the whip near the 600 Metres in an endeavour to get the horse to improve. SPECTACULAR WIN was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. The post race clinical examination of SPECTACULAR WIN revealed no abnormalities. DYNAMIC WINNINGS, FIGARO and UNIVERSAL GLORY were sent for sampling.
