Racing Incident Report
FLYING BISHOP left the gates awkwardly and just after the start bumped the hindquarters of TRIUMPHANT FEELING. On jumping, CELLINI shifted out abruptly and bumped KIMBO BELL which was crowded onto DESERT STORM and checked. Near the 800 Metres, CELLINI became unbalanced when close to the heels of TRIUMPHANT FEELING and shifted out. About the 500 Metres, FLYING BISHOP shifted out and made contact with CELLINI. After the 200 Metres, AMBITIOUS TYCOON shifted out. Because of this, G Mossé momentarily stopped riding and changed his whip hand. S Dye (DANRIVA) said at no stage did the horse feel comfortable and in the Straight when giving ground was quite badly unbalanced and he did not ride it out in his normal fashion. DANRIVA was sent for sampling and a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, DANRIVA was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He was unable to find any abnormalities. However, before DANRIVA can race again, it will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. SPLENDID PATROL, AMBITIOUS TYCOON and FLYING BISHOP were sent for sampling.
