Racing Incident Report
FORWOOD was slowly away. ORLANDO FLYER left the gates very awkwardly and threw its head about. Just as the gates opened, HIGH SPIRITS reared, because of this lost a lot of ground. Then after the 200 Metres, when closing off strongly, HIGH SPIRITS shifted out to avoid ALL THE BEST which was giving ground. In the middle stages, UNIVERSAL CHARGER was awkwardly placed just inside the heels of SEASONS TREASURE. Then after being crowded, UNIVERSAL CHARGER appeared to drop the bit and was ridden hard to keep up. After the 800 Metres, ORLANDO FLYER got its head up and shifted out abruptly from behind UNIVERSAL CHARGER. In the Straight, LUCKY SUPERSTAR (H K Yim) shifted out and carried CELEBRATION from the running to which it was rightfully entitled. H K Yim was severely reprimanded and told in similar circumstances he must stop riding and straighten. S Dye (BILLION DELIGHT) explained in the early part of the Straight particularly, the horse became unbalanced and dipped several times.
