Racing Incident Report
On jumping, FRENCH FRY was crowded slightly for room between BELLAGIO and GOOD MAN. About the 900 Metres, EMPIRE COURT was steadied when close to the heels of FAIR LADY. D Whyte (MONZA KING) said during the run he travelled behind MULITZEN and was endeavouring to ensure he gave himself galloping room. He said after the 800 Metres he was aware MULTIZEN was being pushed along to maintain its position, he endeavoured to shift from behind it, was unable to do so as he had PRODIGY racing tight on his outside and when MULTIZEN did not go forward, he struck that horse's heels, MONZA KING knuckled, nearly fell and he momentarily lost the use of his off side iron. When MONZA KING nearly fell after the 800 Metres, inconvenience was caused to EMPIRE COURT, FULL THROTTLE and HAPPY FORTUNE was checked. The occurrence in the opinion of the Stewards was accidental. For some distance near the 300 Metres, MULTIZEN was awkward when close to the heels of RACE TO HONOUR which was starting to give ground. About the 200 Metres, M Cahill (HAPPY FORTUNE) momentarily dropped his off side rein. Then about 100 Metres out, M Cahill again dropped his off side rein and continued to the line without it.
