Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, PERFECT STAR bounded in the air. COURAGE STAR stumbled on jumping. ALL WIN jumped with its head in the air. In the early stages, NIGHT STAR, which was racing wide, proved difficult to settle. About the 900 Metres, HAPPY FOREVER got its head up when being steadied off the heels of DELIGHTFUL SPECIAL (K S Yu) which shifted in when barely clear. K S Yu was told to exercise more care. Also about the 900 Metres, PERPETUAL HARMONY lost its position when awkward between NIGHT STAR and GREENMORE which made the turn awkwardly and shifted out. In the early part of the Straight, PERPETUAL HARMONY was momentarily awkward on the heels of REBEL LEADER. To obtain running, PERPETUAL HARMONY came back and endeavoured to shift to the outside of NIGHT STAR. About the 300 Metres, GREENMORE endeavoured to improve between PERFECT STAR and REBEL LEADER where there was insufficient room. Whilst endeavouring to improve, GREENMORE bumped the hindquarters of REBEL LEADER. After this incident, GREENMORE did not obtain clear running through to the line. REBEL LEADER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
