Racing Incident Report
On jumping, LORD OF WARRIORS got its head up when tight between HUNTING LAD and INDIGENOUS. Turning out of the Straight the first time, ELECTRONIC UNICORN was tightened slightly by INDUSTRIALIST. Rounding the Home Turn and in the Straight, JOKER hung out. When questioned about the performance of INDIGENOUS, S Dye said along the back the horse was off the bit, then although travelling well for a short distance on the Home Turn did not quicken as expected, but over the concluding stages battled on to the line and finished the race off fairly. He said on the face of it the run may have been disappointing, but when the weights were considered, in his opinion the run was satisfactory and the horse to him has indicated it may be looking for more ground. INDIGENOUS and LITIGADO were sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, it was reported that LITIGADO had lost its near side front plate and had returned to the scale with lacerations to both front heels. Following the race, it was reported that HELENE VITALITY had sustained lacerations to its off side stifle.
