Racing Incident Report
NATURAL WINNER jumped very awkwardly. In the early stages, LITIGADO took some time to settle. Near the 800 Metres, LITIGADO was momentarily unbalanced when tight between GONLARGO and FLORAL JOY. Before weighed-in was declared, D Whyte, the rider of DEPECHE MODE, 5th placegetter, sought permission to view the official video films as he considered there may have been grounds to object against SHAXI FORTUNE being declared 3rd. After viewing the available films, D Whyte decided it was inappropriate to formally lodge an objection on this occasion. An inquiry into the reason for DEPECHE MODE being hampered about the 100 Metres was adjourned until next Wednesday at the Happy Valley Racecourse. Also next Wednesday at the Happy Valley Racecourse, R Fradd (WIN FOR LILY) will be given an opportunity of explaining his riding in the concluding stages. LITIGADO was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
