Racing Incident Report
On jumping, ELLEN'S WON was severely checked, WINNINGCOMBINATION checked and MY CHIEF crowded for room when tightened by NICE MEMORIES which shifted in abruptly away from HANDBAG'S HONOUR. The crowding was extenuated as a consequence of DRAGON FORTUNE shifting out on leaving the gates. In view of all the circumstances, no action was taken. Near the 800 Metres, HANDBAG'S HONOUR got its head up when steadied momentarily away from the heels of ZENON LIGHT. Near the 200 Metres, Apprentice K C Tsang (WINNINGCOMBINATION) dropped his whip. In the early part of the Straight, TRIUMPHANT SMILE (W C Marwing) shifted in, then in the latter part of the Straight had a tendency to shift out. Because of the horse shifting ground, W C Marwing changed whip hands. In the Straight, SUPER GOAL STRIKER hung out. PAR AVION was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, it was noted that HANDBAG'S HONOUR had its tongue over the bit.
