Fernando Hierro is the best defender in the history of Real Madrid and Spanish football. He played 89 times for Spain and scored 29 goals. In addition to those club triumphs, he also appeared in 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002 and 2018 World Cup, and 1996 and 2000 Euro Championship for Spain.

And I can’t mention Portugal without talking about Cristiano Ronaldo. Along with Lionel Messi, they have been the two best players in the world for many years but both are still hungry for success and will look to score the goals to fire their countries to success.

Kylian Mbappe is one player who has taken the baton from them and, along with his Paris Saint Germain teammate Neymar da Silva, they will be two players who also have a chance of winning the Golden Boot.

There are a number of other contenders for this award: Harry Kane is such a great goalscorer and so is Robert Lewandowski, while I would also include Alvaro Morata, who is playing with a lot of confidence. But key is getting out of the group stage and playing as many games as possible.
